Yes we Dutch are crazy people. You might think it would be the Chinese to make a cheesy South park rip-off, but no! Starting from 2 April, the Dutch Comedy Central is airing "The real South park". In 8 episodes they'll recreate classic South park episodes with real life actors (or people pretending to be). Ah well, it might be funny to see if such a conversion works.

Most of you have noticed that the countdown timer was wrong. This morning I checked the site after a long time and reset the timer to the correct air date. Sorry if you got your hopes up, but you just have to wait a little longer . More info about the next episode will be online tonight after I'm back from work.

Oh.... rants, curses can be thrown at me by adding comments !!!

Finaly the first info has arived. This is what the press release tells us:

NEW YORK, October 5, 2009 – The boys bring in professional ghost hunters to investigate evidence of paranormal activity in the Broflovski House in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled, “Dead Celebrities,” premiering on Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.

Powerful forces are tormenting Ike. He's freaked out and the stress could kill him. Kyle and the boys are doing everything they can to save him but the poltergeists won't leave Ike alone.

So there you have it... and yes, the countdown timer was wrong... sorry but you can freeze yourself for just another day.

Just a few days to go, but still no info yet of the next episode.

Like I told you before, the American www.southparkstudios.com is blocked from The Netherlands and you get redirected to the Dutch version www.southpark.nl, also run by the same owners. Many of you experience the same from other countries too. There's a way around this you know ! All you have to do is point your browser through a proxy server that's located in America and you're in !

I found a list of usable proxy addresses at http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html or at  http://www.proxz.com/proxy_list_anonymous_us_0_ext.html (use at own risk). They tend to work for just a small period of time, but once you're in (at the front-page of the America version), you can change your settings back and continue surfing the site.

I set the countdown timer at the end of the first leg of this season. Right now several other website display the episode launch one day further then we do. Since there's no countdown timer on the official website, I'm a bit confused when it will actual start. So maybe if I'm wrong (please don't shoot me if I reset the countdown timer), but does anyone of you know ? Please let me know !

Long time no see, but that will change as soon when the new South Park season will kick off. In just a few days, the first episode of this season will air and the first screenshots and clips should be available soon. Like every year you can find download links as soon as they're available.

About the future of this site. I'm not sure where everything is heading but the creators of South Park are really busy with providing free streaming episodes. Here in the Netherlands they show ads on Comedy Central promoting their new site, especially the streaming episodes. So I won't focus on streaming the new episodes, but more in providing downloadable episodes in all kinds of (portable) formats. This way you can enjoy South Park even at places where there's no streaming available or on the road.

Suggestions and votes are welcome.
Let's hope it'll be a kick-ass season!

What's up with those people, sending fake torrent files. The first AVI download was a boggus AVI file displaying a still image showing a link to some free software. Luckily an AVI file itself can't contain a virus, su running it won't harm your computer. But if followed that link it showed, you could be in for a nasty surprice. Don't know if it was harmfull this time, I didn't follow that link. It happend before and now I'm checking the downloads myself. As soon as I found out it was a bogus file, I uploaded a good torrent.

In short, never ever follow a link ! The video files should only contain the South Park episode, if not, delete it ! The downloads that are online now, are checked and fully working. If only we could find out who goes to all that trouble to create those bogus files and force them to watch Family Guy for an whole hour .

Small website update !

Just uploaded the episode guide for season 2 and complete RM downloads for season 1 and 2. The torrents are just seeding, so please be patient and please seed them! Other seasons will follow soon I hope.
